The Inver Grove Heights braces specialist recently was featured in a Sun-Current newspaper article after she provided treatment for an autistic child. The article details how Kay Neubert sought orthodontic treatment for her daughter and finally found it with Eisenhuth.

Inver Grove Heights Orthodontist Nominated For Junior Achievement Volunteer of the Year

EAGAN, ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – Eagan and Inver Grove Heights orthodontist Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth and her husband, Peter, recently were nominated as elementary volunteers of the year for Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest.

The elementary volunteers of the year were nominated by a member of the JAUM staff and were announced at the organization’s recent 60th celebration. About 20 volunteers of the year were nominated in the Metro Area, said Jill Gilbert, senior program/volunteer manager for JAUM.

“We were thrilled to be nominated,” said Eisenhuth, an Inver Grove Heights braces provider. “This is something we got involved in several years ago with our children and we have enjoyed presenting Junior Achievement programs to students through the years.” Read more >>

Inver Grove Heights Orthodontist Supports July 4th Funfest Children’s Events

EAGAN, INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – The 2010 Independence Day Funfest celebration in Eagan marked the third year that Eagan and Inver Grove Heights orthodontist Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth served as a Funfest sponsor.

Funfest is a four-day event that began July 1 with the Miss Eagan Funfest Ambassador Coronation and ended July 4 with the fireworks display.

This year’s event also helped the city celebrate its 150th birthday with a separate parade on July 3. Part of the celebration included bringing back the Children’s Funfest Bike Parade, an old tradition. Other activities included concerts, Old West reenactments, a pancake breakfast and a comedy juggling show.

Eisenhuth’s Eagan and Inver Grove Heights orthodontics practice sponsored the children’s activities, which were held on July 3 this year, according to the Funfest website. Read more >>

Inver Grove Heights Orthodontist Discusses Facial Asymmetry Treatment

ST. PAUL AND MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA – Skeletal asymmetry of the jaw is one of the most visible facial malformations.

Often, the preferred treatment is orthognathic surgery, but many facial asymmetry issues in children can be corrected or vastly improved with various non-surgical orthodontic methods, provided the issue is identified before the child is finished growing.

As more adults seek orthodontic treatment and facial asymmetry is identified, more inquiries are being made into treatment alternatives to orthognathic surgery, even if it means the end result is not as good as it would have been with surgery, said Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth, an Eagan and Inver Grove Heights orthodontist.
